Introducing FramerForms 2.0: Reimagined

Today we introduce a brand new FramerForms built from the ground up to solve some of the key product faults & requests, and to build a custom form solution for Framer that is scalable and endurable for any use case.

When we launched FramerForms back in early June of this year, we didn’t expect the amount of growth that we’ve seen. Since launch, over 350 teams and creators use FramerForms on their sites.

Today we introduce a brand new FramerForms built from the ground up to solve some of the key product faults & requests, and to build a custom form solution for Framer that is scalable and endurable for any use case. Here’s what’s new in a nutshell:

Reimagined form builder

Previously, to update your form you’d have to go into the code override, manually update the data and hope it works. While this solution worked well, it still felt like sticky tape. Today, we’ve launched a brand new way to build forms.

The process is 10x smoother, requires ZERO code editing and can be fully controlled from the Framer UI. Better yet, it still gives you even more customisation that the previous version and is a stronger framework to build exciting new features moving forward, quickly.

2.0 Dashboard

When you purchased FramerForms 1.0, you were sent a remix link with a 5min tutorial. This was okay, but still felt like sticky tape (and you know how we feel about sticky tape). Alongside this release, we’ve built an entire platform to support you creating forms. Now, the process to get onboarded, connecting your form, and improving your forms over time is no longer a hassle.

Template library

If you want to go pro and build forms that are more advanced, or even if you’re not sure where to start, templates are the best solution to help. We’re introducing a brand new template library that will continue to grow over time.

If you want to create multi-step forms, beautifully designed forms, or create more advanced forms - our template library will be the quickest way to launch a form inside of your Framer site.

What’s next?

Today is the starting point of continuous improvement. Any users of FramerForms get life-time access, meaning you won’t just receive what we’ve announced today, but also what we announce in the future. Here’s a peep into what we’re planning moving into 2024:

File Uploading: The ability to add a file upload field to your form and send that data to your endpoint.

More direct integrations: We’re expanding our verified integration list and creating better documentation.

Way more templates: We’re continuing to push FramerForms to its limits by building world-class templates that cannot be matched.

Myself and the rest of the Insert Frame team are very excited to see what you can build with FramerForms. We’re so appreciative of all our customers to date and hope that this update gives you more confidence to convert like crazy with the power of Framer.
